Gifts for the Vintage Lover

The Top Gifts for the Hardest One to Buy …the Vintage Lover

Best gifts for vintage lovers

An old or refurbished item used to have the contextual black cloud of a bad gift to those that weren’t considered collectors. I, for one, had a completely different experience. For roughly the last 10 years, my Christmas present from my father had been a vintage medical device. Sitting on my shelf are old medical texts, drawings, glass vials, and two medical clamps from the 1870s. Perhaps, this might seem odd to some, but to me he understood my humor and love for the rare finds. I cherish these gifts and although some cost almost nothing, the history behind it is what really makes it count. However, this type of gift really entails knowing who you are getting it for, actually really understanding their hobbies and personality. Moreover, sometimes these excuiste finds come with a very hefty price tag. This is why I found some amazing gifts with a history attached, and MOST of them won’t break the bank.

I also added some additional finds at the bottom for some more inspiration or great buys.
