One-Piece Suits are Here to Stay…and I’m Happy.

Screen Shot 2015-04-14 at 5.02.09 AMIt’s getting to that season again, well, in Houston I can say this right now. And whether you like it or not, one-pieces are making a comeback. Maybe they won’t outshine the bikini, but they are a close second and they’re no longer considered “mom-ish,” which I use that with caution considering how many of my friends are mothers and most importantly, stylish. If you are looking for something that shows less skin but has the added effect of sexy and sophistication, than these are the suits for you. However, don’t be fooled that they don’t offer less, especially when some of my own bikinis are made of more material. Below I offer some tips on how to pair some of my favorite one-pieces with accessories or ways to go from “day to night.” Is this a look you will try this summer? Let me know. Enjoy!

Rodeo Wear and How to Stand Out

rodeoone, two, three, four

If you live in Houston, then you know that throughout the month of March it’s RODEO SEASON. For some, this can be a simple event of debauchery and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, looking good should also be in the back of one’s mind. For me, I love to kick off the high heels and grab the cowboy boots. (I actually don’t own a pair, so this might be a little exaggeration). Anyway, realizing what exactly to wear shouldn’t be too hard of a task. This year, Aztec print dresses paired with boots can create a cowgirl ensemble. Below I created a collage from some of my favorite shops to create this look. The far left is from and they also carry collections from every era. The rest are from one of my newest and favorite stores called Hazel and Olive. There prices are incredibly reasonable and there designs are fresh. You can visit them at
