Get the Look for Less: Jamie Chung
There’s something about Jamie Chung that continually drives me to seek out her styles as well as emulate. Perhaps, it’s the laid-back, sort-of vintage style that she wears so exquisitely well. I mean, has anyone ever seen this girl look bad? Seriously! However, with majority of celebrities, their tailored treads never err on the cheaper side. This is why I designed three looks regarding this stylish girl that hopefully we all can afford. Enjoy!
Get the Look For Less: Mint Knee-Length Skirt
Ms Chung was seen wearing the above at the premiere of the Alice and Olivia Fall Fashion Show in 2013. Yes, this skirt is jaw-dropping but at approximately $800, well…I think I’ll pass. I do love how the circle skirt pairs perfectly with the boyish crop to soften her look, but mint is not a color I will invest in so heavily. Click above to get the look for less.
For those of you that are unaware, Comic-Con starts today in San Diego, CA. I designed this set for any of my anime-geeks (I hope it’s still “cool” to say geeks). And for those of you that are scratching his/her head at what the excitement is all about, well, lets describe it like this: You know how there is this thing in New York called Fashion Week. Well, that’s the opening band for Comic-Con. (Yeah, I see my business partners shaking their head at that joke….I kid, I kid). 🙂
Anyway, GOSICK is high on my list of my Favorite Anime Series of all times. If you haven’t seen it, or if you are new to Anime, I believe it’s a great place to start. I should note that I’m more partial to the mystery-adventure/romance stories. The main character, Victorique (the girl shown above), is a likable heroine. She’s a little bratty, but aren’t we all at some point, along with brains and beauty. She’s emotionally strong but physically weak with Kujo as her faithful bodyguard. If you decide to check it out, give it a little time, since the beginning is a little slow and please let me know what you think. If GOSICK isn’t your favorite, what are some other ones that you enjoy? Have a great evening and enjoy. Happy Comic-Con!
Yes, you’re taught to shake hands and say, “Good Game.” However, sometimes exercising your excitement of beating the pants off that annoying opponent feels good. Damn…Good. Don’t feel bad, you looked amazing doing it. 🙂
Have a wonderful Thursday everyone.
In honor of my favorite sister, well my only sister 🙂 , getting her first job as a teacher, I put together some work outfits to last the week. Most of these won’t break the bank, which is great when we are on a budget. We all know that when you feel good or like the way you look, it improves not only your mood but your work performance. Hopefully this will bring some inspiration to you all and have a great week. Enjoy!
Whether you’re into the trend or not, Neon colors continue to have a lasting impression that can bring wanted or unwanted attention by your choice in styling. Since, I just did a “how-to” post on boyfriend jeans, I’m going to skip the nitty-gritty and get right to it on how to do it. (Hey, that rhymed. Yeah, this post is going to be AWESOME). 🙂
